The first meteor shower was recorded back in November 1799. A meteor shower happens when Earth passes through the path of a comet. All the bits of dust and debris (meteoroids) in the comet’s tail burn up in our atmosphere. This creates streaks of bright light in the night sky which look amazing. If a meteor lands on Earth without burning up, it’s called a meteorite. Science boffins like me love meteorites because we can study them and find out what they’re made of. We’re not so keen on the gigantic ones, though! Many scientists believe that an enormous meteor crashed into Earth and caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Don’t fancy one of those landing on my bonce!

This game needs skill and speed. You have to draw objects to move the red ball along. The instructions are really clear and easy to follow. It is quite hard, though, but keep trying, you'll get better with practice!

If you think space has an awful lot of, well, space in it, think again! Piloting your spaceship without hitting anything is harder than you think! The only irritating thing about Space Escape is that Mr Bobbins is better at it than I am. (Which is a bit annoying since he's a glove-puppet).

I really like this game, it brings out the sportsman in me. (Stop sniggering, Wanda!) I'll have you know I'm already in training for the 2012 Webblimpics being held at WebbliStadium. And I'm hotly-tipped for a medal in the 500m gingernut-hurling-relay, a specialist event requiring pinpoint accuracy and precision-baking. I love words! My favourites are 'hemisphere' and 'slurp'. (Hemisphere means 'half a sphere'. The Earth is a sphere or globe and is divided into two halves - the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.) In this brill word game you test your spelling skills to the max. Youc an even try it in 6 different languages! How brainy is that?!
